When AMD introduced 4x4, which was known then by the name "Quad Father" and now known as FASN8, Intel countered 4x4 with V8. Rumor has it that AMD canned its gaming system, but from my previous post, it still has a big chance to see the light of day.
If FASN8 is still breathing or dead already, Intel doesn't care. It is preparing to unleash yet another beast based on V8. Here it is, Skulltrail.

What is Skulltrail? It is simply a massively massaged Stoakley server board with most of the mods directly affecting gamers. You take a 2S Harpertown system, put in dual Nvidia PCIe chips to allow for 4 true 16x slots, and cut the number of FBD slots from 16 to 4.
