Excel 2007 goes crazy over 65535

Confirmed by members of Google Group microsoft.public.excel, there is a problem in Excel 2007.
I tried it and I can safely say that Microsoft Excel 2007 has this computation problem or call it bug if you want.
If you try to multiply 850 by 77.1, Excel will display a result of 100000 instead of 65535.
Try this:
Cell A1 Value: 850
Cell B1 Value: 77.1
Then on cell C1, type this simple formula: =A1*B1
The result is 100000. Then on cell D1, type this formula again: =C1+1
Result is 100001 which is wrong. Again on cell D1, type this formula: =C1-1
The result is correct, 65534. Problem indeed.
