IE7 welcomes pirates

No more WGA for Internet Explorer 7. Previously, to download Internet Explorer 7, users had to authenticate to WGA. That is Microsoft's tactic to prevent users with pirated copies of Windows from running/installing IE7.

Microsoft said that it had dropped the requirement for WGA for security reasons. But I see it in a different way. It think its rival Mozilla Firefox is eating its browser share.

To increase or take back its share, Microsoft finally dropped that nasty WGA. Good for them, but I'm happy and I'll stick with Firefox and Opera. This blog is best viewed using those browser. :)
