Energizer battery lacks energy

Nickel Metal Hydride or NiMH is a very popular type of rechargeable battery. They can be used over and over again up to 1,000 times. Applications of NiMH type batteries includes hybrid vehicles such as the Toyota Prius to digital cameras, flashlights, and other consumer electronics.

A popular brand of battery, the Energizer D, is under investigation at NewsTarget. They are wondering why Energizer "D" batteries are so weak. After taking a closer look, they found out that it only provide "AA" battery capacity, with a price of 400% more.

The stated capacity of the said battery is 2,500 mAh - the same capacity of smaller "AA" size batteries. The reason? The "D" cell is actually just an "AA" cell inside a larger casing.
